A North East DJ is set to host and perform his biggest show ever in his home city next month (December 16).
Rising music star DJ Schak will be performing a 'Hometoon Christmas Special' at NX Newcastle - where he'll be joined by Kimmic, Danny Bond and Ellie Scougall.
Schak has enjoyed a memorable year, with highlights including treating a crowd to his track 'Inferno' during a Mixmag Lab stream and performing the half time set at the Newcastle United v Southampton game at St James' Park.
He also shared the stage with Patrick Topping and Calvin Harris in Ibiza, and delighted crowds at festivals such as Creamfields, Nass, Hideout, and more.
Speaking of the Newcastle gig, Schak said: "This is going to be high energy.
"The people of Newcastle are unique and this is why I love my home city.
"Designing this show, being with my mates, and in front of my people, it’s like getting the best Christmas gift.
"I want everyone to have a joyous time, making unforgettable memories."
Schak’s music is deeply influenced by Newcastle’s Makina music subculture - a blend of happy hardcore, scouse house, donk, and rapid MC-ing.
He will be joined at the NX Christmas special by Kimmic, a Dundee duo with a distinctive and vibrant sound.
Their debut single was published by prominent record label, Polydor (Universal Music), and has featured in Radio 1, Capital Dance, and KISS FM.
