Andrew White grew up in Newton Aycliffe and has been a journalist for 12 years. He worked for The Northumberland Gazette and Shields Gazette before joining The Northern Echo as Sedgefield reporter in 2000. He has been assistant news editor for four years. Andrew is a poker champion.
