A North East singer's new single is already gaining an online following.
Esmae, from Yarm, has launched her new single, titled 'Undone', through her own label, EZO Music.
Since its release, 'Undone' reached number 8 in the iTunes top40 pop charts, was played two weeks in a row by BBC Intro Northeast and had 100,000 streams on Spotify in a week.
Since her 2021 debut, Esmae has racked up more than 1.4 million Spotify streams and 156,000 Instagram followers.
The backstory to 'Undone' involved a brainstorming session with accomplished songwriters Helen Boulding and Jonas Persson.
Esmae said: "Undone was a feeling we all shared. Even though we only just met, we were instantly on the same page - I’ll never forget the energy in the room that day.
"For me, the song encapsulates the tension of a relationship and how intertwined two people can be, regardless of how forcibly they try to separate."

The accompanying music video for ‘Undone' was produced by Oscar Ryan, whose portfolio boasts collaborations with Sigala, KSI, and Diplo.
Esmae, who kicked off her music career at 16, draws upon her passion for old-school R&B and new-pop music.
