England fans had reason to celebrate tonight after the Lions beat Wales 3-0 to make it through to the World Cup knockout stages.

Gareth Southgate’s side secured three goals in the second half after a goalless first 45-minutes.

Cheers of ‘It’s Coming Home’ rang out at fanzones across the region and beers were thrown in the air as the full-time whistle was blown.

Fans left with smiles on their faces as their side recovered from a poor showing against the USA last week.

Some supporters had even been out from earlier in the afternoon as they prepared for the big game.
