Award-winning North East film director Dean Midas has launched a new horror-themed party game inspired by the world of Eve Valentine, with proceeds from every sale supporting two charities.
Released on September 4 on digital gaming platform Itch.io, the Eve Valentine Horror Game is available in two distinct editions, giving players the chance to experience either a retro 1950s setting or a contemporary version of the story.
Created by County Durham-beased horror filmmaker Dean Midas, the game is designed as an immersive multimedia "print and play" experience for groups of four to nine people.
Combining physical game cards with character roleplay, it invites players to step into the eerie surroundings of West Manor, also known as The Manor House Hotel in West Auckland.
Players can dress as their characters, scan QR codes for audio soundscapes and watch exclusive video encounters featuring Eve Valentine.
Sessions last 30 to 45 minutes, making the game suited to parties, games nights and Halloween gatherings.
The project promises scares and suspense while raising money for two charities.
Every copy of the Eve Valentine Horror Game (50s Version) sold will raise £2.50 for the Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust in Spennymoor, which supports people and families affected by cancer across the region.
Every Modern Version sale will raise £2.50 for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, which challenges prejudice, hatred and intolerance through education and awareness campaigns.
Dean Midas said: "Whether you prefer a vintage 1950s retro vibe or a sleek, high-octane modern night of suspense, we wanted to deliver an unforgettable party horror experience while giving back.
"By supporting two incredible charities close to our hearts, every download directly helps make a difference."

The release is the latest chapter in Eve Valentine’s story, as the horror character builds a following across the North East and beyond.
The character's growing following has already inspired the Eve Suite at the Manor House Hotel & Spa in West Auckland, while a February Eve Valentine Masquerade Ball sold out.
