Police remain in a farmer's field after a teenage boy suffered an 'electric shock' near Stokesley.
Emergency services were called to the Holme Lane area, near Seamer, after the teen suffered suspected 'electric shock' injuries on Tuesday (July 29), at about 4pm.
He was airlifted to hospital and remains there in a serious condition - with two men, aged 47 and 71, arrested in connection with the incident still in custody.
Pictures of the scene on Wednesday (July 30) showed a police van parked in the centre of a field beside a combine harvester, just off Holme Lane.
An officer also remains at the scene.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) confirmed it has been made aware of the incident and is currently liaising with police.
As reported, several ambulance crews, including two air ambulances, were called to the farm after the incident.
One elderly man, who lives nearby, witnessed the 999 response: “I saw all the vehicles there, it was at about 5.30pm yesterday.
“There were two helicopters and various vehicles there. I don’t know what has happened.”
North Yorkshire Police said officers will remain at the scene as the probe continues.
A Great North Air Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Shortly before 4pm our critical care team received a request from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance to attend an incident in Seamer.
"We had a doctor and two paramedics respond and they arrived on scene at 4.16pm. Our team assessed and treated a patient before airlifting them to hospital in 16 minutes."
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received an emergency call at 3.45pm yesterday afternoon (29 July) to report an incident on a farm in the Stokesley area.
