Three people have been charged - one with attempted murder - following a violent altercation at a Redcar bar.
Police and paramedics were called to the Peggy Junes Bar on Queen Street on Saturday (February 15) following an incident just after 8pm.
Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries, although they were not believed to be life-threatening.
Cleveland Police has now charged three people, who are all now due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court today (February 18).
Carl Wild, 33, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, two counts of criminal damage, assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm and affray.
Lee Wild, 37, of Trevose Close, in Redcar, has been charged with assisting an offender.
Simone Reed, 36, of Palmer Walk in Eaglescliffe, has been charged with assisting an offender, possession of a blade in a public place, and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
As previously reported, a cordon was erected outside the bar on Saturday following the incident, with police officers seen standing at the scene in front of the damaged bar.
Police confirmed on Monday that three people had been arrested.
