Water was captured gushing down a Darlington street after a water main burst - leaving some homes with low pressure or no water at all.
Emergency repairs are underway at the corner of Beech Road and Brampton Lane, in Whinfield, after an incident this morning (February 5).
Footage taken earlier today showed water pouring down Beech Lane and flooding the street - although Northumbrian Water teams say it attended quickly and isolated the burst.
The water firm said a small number customers may still be experiencing some low pressure or no water while the repair is ongoing, which are earmarked to finish later today.
Pictures taken by The Northern Echo at the scene this morning show how three-way traffic lights have been put in place, with teams working on an area of the road at the junction.
It is understood the works will be completed around 10.30am.
It is not yet known what caused the water issue - and is currently being described as an "unplanned water disruption".

A full statement from a Northumbrian Water spokesperson said: "Earlier this morning we were notified of a burst water main on Beech Road in Darlington.

“Our teams attended quickly and managed to isolate the burst, however a small number of customers may still be experiencing some low pressure or no water while the repair is ongoing.
“We expect the repairs to be completed later today, and we have put three-way traffic lights in place to ensure the area remains safe whilst the repair is carried out.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank residents for their patience.”
