The North East has been hit by strong winds and rain this weekend.
The Met Office predicts that Storm Kathleen will continue to affect the region's weather today (April 7).
The lashing rain of last night will not be returning today but there is a chance of some drizzle in the afternoon.
The wind speed is expected to peak at 1pm.

10am: 38mph
11am: 37mph
12am: 39mph
1pm: 42mph
2pm: 40mph
3pm: 38mph
4pm: 35mph
5pm: 34mph
6pm: 31mph
7pm: 31mph
8pm: 30mph
9pm: 28mph
10pm: 28mph
11pm: 27mph

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Sunday will see blustery showers and strong winds through the day interspersed with sunnier spells.
"Showers likely heavy at times, occasionally banding together to give periods of more persistent rain, before easing into the evening.
"Mild. Maximum temperature 14 °C."
