Cleveland Police are appealing for information after a series of attacks on cars in Billingham.

There have been a number of car tyres damaged in the last few months in Lundale road, Swaledale Crescent and Teesdale Avenue.

The most recent incident occurred on January 18 on Stokesley Crescent with one tyre being punctured and the car smeared with dirt.

An investigation is ongoing to find those responsible.

Officers are appealing to members of the public with information to come forward.

They ask people in the area to check their CCTV or dash cam footage.

Sergeant Russell Boon, from Billingham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "I want to take this opportunity to reassure residents that we are continuing with our investigation.

"And I am appealing to members of the public to get in touch if they have CCTV, dash cam footage or any information that could assist in identifying and catching those responsible."
