A pedestrian has been left with head injuries after a 'collision' at a County Durham shopping centre.
Emergency services were called to Dalton Park in Murton at around 11.30am on Friday (January 5), following reports of an incident in the car park area of the shopping centre.
Police and paramedics sealed off part of the car park for around 30 minutes to allow them to work at the scene with the injured person.
Durham Police has confirmed that a woman in her 60s was taken to hospital following the incident with head injuries.

A spokesperson for the police force said: "Police were called shortly after 11.30am this morning (January 5) to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian at Dalton Park, Murton.
"The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital with head injuries."
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called to a road traffic collision today (5 January) shortly before midday. We dispatched two ambulance crews and one rapid response crew. One patient was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital."
