An airline provider has announced their winter destination flights from Newcastle Airport for 2024.
Jet2 announced they will offer flights from Newcastle International Airport to popular city break locations such as Rome, Prague, and Krakow in Winter 2024/25- with flights and city breaks to these areas will be on sale from November 2024 to March 2025.
A spokesperson for the brand said they had put this programme on sale in direct response to "strong demand" from customers and independent travel agents looking to book ahead for Winter 24/25.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The demand we are seeing for next winter is telling us that people are wanting to book further ahead and get their winter holidays locked in, which is why we have put our City Breaks programme on sale for 24/25 from Newcastle International Airport.
"Thanks to this exciting programme, which offers huge choice and flexibility, discovering and exploring the best European cities with Jet2CityBreaks has never been so easy.
"As more people look to escape on a city break next winter with an airline and tour operator they can trust, we are confident that these flights and city breaks will sell exceptionally well.”
The full Jet2 and Jet2CityBreaks Winter 24/25 programme from Newcastle International Airport is as follows:
- Krakow - up to two weekly flights, giving holidaymakers to explore the Southern Polish city.
- Prague - up to two weekly flights, means customers can discover this Czech city packed with history, culture and architecture.
- Rome - up to two weekly flights, providing customers with the opportunity to explore the many sights on offer in Italy’s capital known as the Eternal City.
The brand have said the flights will be perfectr for those looking to book a city break in winter, at Christmas or during the February half-term.
Customers can pick from a flight-only option with Jet2 or an ATOL protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks available at £60 per person deposit.

Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights, including 22kg free hold luggage and 10kg of free cabin baggage.
Holidaymakers will also get the choice of 2-5-star hotels in central locations to enjoy their trip.
