Police have confirmed there is "not believed to be any third party involvement" in the death of a woman in a home in Rosiland Street, Ashington.
Police were called to an address in Rosalind Street, Ashington, Northumberland, at around 5.45pm on Tuesday after reports of concern for the occupant.
Both police officers and paramedics from the North East Ambulance Service attended the property where a woman was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police said following an investigation there is not believed to be a third-party involvement and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 5.45pm yesterday (Tuesday) police were contacted by the ambulance service, who were in attendance at an address on Rosalind Street in Ashington, following reports of concern for the occupant.
“Emergency services attended the scene and found a woman who was confirmed as deceased at the scene.
“Her next of kin are aware and currently receiving support from specialist officers.
“Officers attended and following an investigation, there is not believed to be any third-party involvement and a report is being prepared for the coroner.”
