A problem property in Stockton has been shut down following reports of drug dealing.
Officers from Stockton Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) in partnership with Thirteen Group and Stockton Council took action after complaints about the property on St John's Way in Ragworth.
it was was closed last month and officers seized a suspected stolen bike and pepper spray from inside the address.
PC Roberts from Stockton NPT said: “Any reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour which causes misery to our communities will be dealt with swiftly.
“We will continue to liaise with partner agencies where appropriate, to utilise a multi-agency approach to disrupt those involved with criminal activity as much as possible.”

Thirteen's head of housing services, Chris Marshall, said: “The safety of our customers and local communities, like this in Stockton, is our absolute priority, and we will not tolerate our homes being used for any criminal or anti-social behaviour.
“We're pleased the tenancy has been terminated as a direct result of our action in partnership with Cleveland Police and Stockton Council, which will provide some relief to the local community.
"We're committed to working in partnership with Stockton Council, Cleveland Police and residents to reduce anti-social behaviour and crime in our communities.”
