Chester, Turkish Kangal - 1 to 2 years
Chester is a shy boy who needs a kind and patient home, as he has so far led a sheltered life.
He is slowly building confidence but requires a slow approach when new approached by new people.
He enjoys the company of other dogs and can share his home with another dog, pending a successful meeting.
He can also live with secondary school-aged children.
Nola, German Shepherd Dog - 2 to 5 years
Nola is a German Shepherd who is in need of a quiet home, shared with those she has formed a special bond with.
She can be somewhat nervous around new people, but centre staff have said her confidence will grow with time.
She thrives with attention and would prefer to live in a household with secondary school-aged children.
Nola needs a garden of her own for off-leash playtime, as she must remain on a lead when out in public due to her "being conflicted" when with other dogs.

Barney, Newfoundland Cross - 2 to 5 years
Barney is a giant-sized Newfoundland Cross who is incredibly sweet and affable.
He has not seen much of the world and needs a patient and understanding family who will help him acclimate to his new life slowly.
He requires an adult-only home without other pets and may need anti-inflammatory medication for his back legs.
Barney has been described as "very loyal" and "lovable" by staff at the centre.
Any new home will need to be close to the centre to allow his favourite member of staff to escort to his new forever home.
Rick, Border Collie Cross - 5 to 7 years
Rick is a Border Collie Cross who has stolen the hearts of his carers, with staff describing him as a "very sweet soul."
Rick's toy of choice is the tennis ball, and for a dog that adores his toys, this might be the best route to his heart..
Staff at the centre have said his new household will need to continue his training after adoption.
Naturally excitable, he must be kept on lead and be muzzled while out on walks and would prefer his walks in quieter areas.
The centre have recommended he be the only pet in his new home.
Magic, German Shepherd Cross - 5 to 7 years
Magic is a German Shepherd Dog Cross who is chock-full of puppy energy and ambition.
He requires a dedicated owner skilled in positive reward dog training and someone who has an 'outside the box' mentality to aid his enrichment.
He needs an adult-only home and must be an only pet.
Magic is still working on his dog social skills and will need owners to keep up his socialization while out on walks.
Zelda, Terrier (Staffordshire Bull) - 6 to 12 months
Zelda is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for a fun-loving owner with a sense of humour.
She requires an adult-only home and prefers to be the only pet, but would benefit from her new family keeping up her doggy social skills while out on walks.
Maxie, Crossbreed - 8+ years
Finally, there is Maxie, who is currently living offsite with a foster family.
Maxie needs a home where her new family will be around the majority of the time, as she enjoys having company around the house.
