A missing man from Ingleby Barwick has led to a police appeal as officers are concerned for his whereabouts.

Police are trying to trace Dean Harwood who was last seen in the Ingleby Barwick area this morning (Saturday, May 6).

Mr Harwood was last seen at 8:30am today and was wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and blue Adidas trainers.

Anyone who has seen Mr Harwood or knows where he is likely to be should contact Cleveland Police as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “Police are appealing to trace missing Dean Harwood aged 49 who was last seen in Ingleby Barwick at 8:30am this morning, Saturday 6th May.

“Dean is around 6 ft tall with short blonde hair and he was last seen wearing navy Adidas tracksuit bottoms and blue Adidas trainers.

“Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 086124.”
