A County Durham ice cream shop has announced it has restocked an extremely popular energy drink which has been selling out across the country.

Ice cream shop Creams of Seaham has announced today on its social media page that it is selling bottles of influencer energy drink, Prime, as part of multiple deals.

They said one of their deals, which costs £18, includes two waffles, a scoop of ice cream on each, and "any bottle" of Prime.

This comes as the energy drink continues to fly off store shelves nationwide, with ALDI, Sainsburys and ASDA all selling out of the beverage.

In a social media post, a store spokesperson said: "Look what's landed at Creams of Seaham

"PRIME, PRIME, PRIME, PRIME. We have a few deals going with prime."

Meanwhile, stores across the country have been selling out of their stocks within minutes.

Residents reacted to the news online, showing their shock at the pricing of the energy drink.

One shocked resident said: "Absolutely ridiculous, it's just a bottle of pop!"

While another said: "Can we just buy prime?"

The shop is also offering another deal for £12.50, which includes one waffle with a scoop of ice cream, with any bottle of Prime.

The store has said it will only be selling the drink as part of a bundle, as individual sales would be "very expensive."

Meanwhile, the drink has this week been spotted online listed for as high as £123 on Facebook marketplace.

Last week, queues of people were spotted outside Aldi in Yarm and Norton after the supermarket chain started selling the drink on its special buy offer of £1.99, and limited customers to three prime drinks per shopper.

Prime was launched earlier this year by KSI and Logan Paul and the brand has amassed 1.3 million followers on Instagram since then.

Since then, the duo have announced a new version of their hugely popular Prime energy drink will be coming to the UK this April.
