A bank holiday music festival returned to Darlington this weekend for the first time since 2019 and the market square was filled with people.
Yesterday (Saturday, August 27) music filled the streets of Darlington and a big variety of musical genres could be heard including pop, ska and afrobeat.
There were also plenty of food and drink options available and children’s activities to keep little ones amused including a Ceilidh demonstration by Blind Panic.
The Belta Rievers playing Geordie folk songs and jazz from Sunnyside Jazz and Bluegrass sounds from The Often Heard.
Saturday was gloriously sunny and there was a great atmosphere, and the rain on Sunday afternoon didn’t seem to dampen spirits.
The festival has been organised in partnership with Tracks, Big Little Gigs and Darlington Borough Council.
