There have been severe delays on the A1(M) this morning following a crash in the early hours of the morning.
Four vehicles were involved in the incident and we believe the road was closed for some time.
The incident was first reported at around 6am this morning and happened Southbound from Junction 62 on the A690 to Junction 61 A688 on Tursdale road.

Delays of up to four minutes have been reported at 8:30am this morning, however, it seems traffic in the area is easing.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called shortly after 7am this morning (August 9) to reports of a four vehicle collision on the A1M southbound between J61 and 62.
"Thankfully nobody was injured in the incident and the road has cleared."
