Police have recovered a cannabis grow following a raid on a property in a County Durham village.

Durham Police discovered the cannabis plants at an address in Auckland Terrace, Shildon.

Two people were arrested at the scene and the cannabis grow was seized, as an investigation continues.

A Durham Police spokesperson said this was the fourth grow officers had located within a month.
