As we begin to near the end of the week, with 'that Friday feeling' approaching - we’ve had a look at what we have in store when it comes to the weather.
Although this week hasn’t been anything to write home about when it comes to fine conditions, weather has been generally good and mostly warm, with some cloud and spells of rain.
What’s the weather like tonight?
Moving into tonight we’re set for further showers, sometimes heavy at times across the North East.

These will generally ease by dawn but a minimum temperature of 11c has been predicted for this evening.
What’s the weather like tomorrow?
Tomorrow, although we will be greeted by some early sunny spells, there will be some cloud bubbling up throughout the morning.
Scattered showers will then develop throughout the day, sometimes becoming heavy with blustery rain to come with it.
Temperatures will be near normal with a maximum temperature of 21c.
In Darlington a maximum temperature of 18c has been predicted with mostly cloudy conditions and chances of rain between 11am and 3pm.

What’s the weather like for the rest of the week?
As we move into the weekend, further cloudy conditions have been predicted with further showers also possible.
Saturday will be a fine start before rain spreads east later, soon breaking into showers later.
Sunny spells have been predicted for Sunday with a further risk of showers.
In Darlington on Saturday temperatures are expected to reach highs of 17c with a 40% chance of precipitation between 1 and 4pm.

On Sunday temperatures could reach as high as 18c, however, further rain is expected with a 40 per cent chance precipitation at 4pm.
