DETECTIVES are appealing for information after an attempted aggravated burglary at a property on Belle Vue Court in Stockton.

A group of men with weapons entered the house at around 8.30pm on Friday after smashing the windows, they then left the property and it is believe some of them left on a motorbike.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is currently in police custody.

Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam or private CCTV to come forward if they believe they may have captured the incident.

Anyone who witnessed a disturbance or anything else suspicious at Belle Vue Court around the time of the incident are asked to come forward.
