SUPERMARKETS, retailers and even hotels are continuing to show their support for our emergency service and NHS workers with a range of hefty discounts.
From discounted food bills to up to 50 per cent off items in some retail shops, a number of big names have got behind offering slashed prices in return for their hard work.
The NHS has been publishing a list of companies offering big discounts in a bid to make things that little bit easier for its staff.
Currently, the list has more than 100 companies that have been verified by NHS England and NHS Improvement.
Online, a statement on the website reads: "NHS workers have been inundated with kind offers of support from a wide range of companies – from discounted taxi rides, to dedicated supermarket shopping times, to free food and discounted products."
It comes as large food chains including Nando's and McDonald's confirmed price cuts for NHS staff earlier this year as a way of thanking them for their efforts.
