A MAN has died after being found seriously injured at a house in Middlesbrough last night, Tuesday.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was discovered after police were called to an address in Crescent Road just after 7.30pm.

He later died at the town's James Cook University Hospital.

Cleveland Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct as the death followed police contact.

A 28-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder, a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of affray and a 43-year-old man on suspicion of assault. All are in police custody.

Cleveland Police officers will remain in the area throughout the day and the road remains closed whilst police continue their investigation.
