A NORTH-EAST film club is staging an evening to celebrate the music of Prince.
The Prince Experience is playing live at The Forum on Borough Road, Darlington,on Saturday, September 9 and the club, which meets at the same venue, is continuing the theme with a screening of the musician’s Sign ‘O’ The Times live show two nights later.
Stuart Willoughby, from Stockton record shop Sound It Out, will host a presentation on his recent trip to Minneapolis to celebrate the first anniversary of Prince’s death, followed by a big screen showing of the concert from the Rotterdam Music Hall.
- Tickets for the event, on Monday, September 11, are £3, including free popcorn. The talk will take place at 7.30pm, with the film following around an hour later.
