ACCOUNTING and business advisory firm, Baldwins, a CogitalGroup company, has expanded its accounting and audit team to satisfy increasing demand for its services across the region.

To accelerate its growth, Laura Nolan, accounts senior, Ryan Dunn, accounts senior, Leanne Metcalfe, audit manager, and Lucy Morris, accounts senior, have joined the accounting and audit team at the Wynyard office, bringing further expertise within audit, cloud solutions and general accounting.

Speaking about the latest appointments, Joanne Regan, partner for the Wynyard office, said: “We are thrilled to welcome these new starters to the team. The business has announced the promotion of Tracey Turner from accounts senior to accounts manager and Michael Laverick from accounts manager to senior accounts manager. Tracey and Michael, who joined the firm as trainees, are key members of the compliance team responsible for helping to build the practice’s client base in the Teesside area. These promotions will help the firm deliver its ambitious growth plans which will encompass the wider North East region.

The Wynyard team are also celebrating the success of three accounts and audit seniors who have achieved exceptional results in their professional exams. Nichola Miles and Cheryl Brown attained the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification and Ryan Hall obtained the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) ACA qualification.
