A group of girls who work at the same stables are cantering for 100km to raise money for charity.
The friends, who ride from Snows Green Farm, near Shotley Bridge, Consett, are supporting the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Starting on Easter Monday the girls will be cantering on trails on in the north Durham area along with Becky Armstrong whose daughters are also doing the challenge.
So far they have raised around £700 for Canter for a Cure.

Rachael Selby, from Consett, whose daughter, Mia, is taking part, said: “They could not wait to get started. It is taking up quite a bit of their time over the holidays.
“Becky and I are really proud of them.”
