Two quickfire second-half goals from Rekeem Harper and Alex Reid helped steer Barrow to a third successive National League win as they beat Scunthorpe 3-0 at Holker Street.
Harper broke the deadlock in the 68th minute to net for the third successive game before Reid fired home the rebound, after Seb Thompson’s effort was parried, three minutes later. Substitute Arian Allen added a third in the 87th minute.
Reid was twice denied by visiting goalkeeper Maison Campbell, who also thwarted Isaac Marriott, as well as firing an early effort just wide before Barrow made their pressure count.
A stunning save from Barrow keeper Ben Winterbottom had prevented Stan Ashbee from giving Scunthorpe the lead as they suffered a third defeat in four games.
