Andy Colledge takes charge of Easington after returning to the club in midweek, just six weeks after he left.

Since then, the club has had three points deducted for failing to fulfil a fixture, failed to pick up a point in eight league games, and been fined £500.

After the sacking of Mark Proudlock last Saturday, several players walked out, and Colledge has had to recruit several players for today’s home game with West Allotment. Colledge was previously in charge for three years, helping the club to promotion from the Wearside League last season.

The visitors will be strengthened by the returns of player manager Paul Stoneman and Steve Swithenbank after suspension, but Chris Rue and Liam McIvor both return.

The game of the day in the division is probably at Waterhouses, where Esh Winning face Gillford Park. Esh have won their last four games to climb up to second with striker Craig Mickle up to 16 league goals for the season, and they will be at full strength, except for injured midfielder Alex Wilson.

The Cumbrians are strengthened by the return of striker Marc Shiel, who missed the goalless draw at Horden in midweek, while Ian Milburn, Tyran Taylor and Dayle Armstrong also return.

Darlington RA, who have climbed up to joint second following a run of four straight wins, are at Brandon, and manager Nick Harrison should have almost a full squad with Dale Elgie returning. David Harrison and David Webster are both missing with long term injuries.

North Shields, who are at home to Thornaby, have only two 100 per cent fit strikers, Andy Hay and Andy Bowman, available, while three other players are missing. Thornaby could make changes after going to extra time at Brandon on Thursday night.

Crook, who are at home to Hebburn, will be at full strength, except for midfielder Richard Hodgson, who is missing because of suspension. Hebburn, whose promotion challenge stumbled in midweek following their 5-0 defeat at home to Whitehaven, are almost sure to make changes.

Whickham have slid down the table in recent games because of injuries to several players, and they shown no sign of abating as ten players are missing for their home game with Horden.

The visitors include striker Phil Robinson, who has been transferred from Newton Aycliffe, while Jack Honour, Michael Joseph and Aaron Ramsbottom are all doubtful.

Northallerton, who are at Washington, expect striker Carl Chillingsworth and Danny Chapman to return having missed the midweek game, while Stuart Jackson, Craig Winter and Stuart Hardy will have fitness tests before the game..

Ryton and Crawcrook who are at Morpeth, welcome back Mark Eccles, Ross Atkinson, Scott Thompson, Scott Palmer, Ryan Arnott and keeper Mark Fish. Chester-le-Street could make changes to the team that lost at home to Whickham in midweek when they go to Alnwick.

Seaham Red Star, who are at home to Birtley, will give a debut to new signing Michael Stothard, while defender Adam Ward, midfielder Calvin Gowland and striker Tim Bowman will all return to the squad. Birtley are without their suspended top scorer, Danny Smart, but Kevin Dixon and Scott Garrett both return to the side.
