West Auckland can go back on top of the first division tonight, but they have a tough game away at Norton.

West are currently second on goal difference behind Dunston, and will be without defender Andrew Green Norton will pair up their recent striker signings, James Magowan and John Alexander for the first time.

Spennymoor can go third above Whitley Bay and Sunderland RCA if they win at Guisborough, and manager Jason Ainsley includes new signing Kieron Edwards, sigend from Sunderland RCA, in his squad.

Guisborough, who are third bottom, will be without defender Joel Guy, who broke his ankle against Newton Aycliffe last Saturday.

Sixth in the table Newton Aycliffe are at home to Jarrow Roofing, and will be without midfielder Josh Gray and striker Ben Wood, both because of injury.

Roofing, who are seventh bottom, are missing Chris Scott and Josh Allen, but Dave Anderson returns.

Billingham Town, who are above the relegation zone by virtue of more goals scored than Guisborough, are at Newcastle Benfield and manager Carl Jarrett adds three players to the squad that lost at home to West Auckland last Saturday.

In the second division , Crook full back Corey Barnes returns for their clash with Northallerton at the Millfield, but keeper Marc Riches and striker Kev Devine are both missing because of injury.

Northallerton, who are ahead of Crook only on virtue of goals scored, are without Martin Butterworth and Stuart Hardy, but Gary Cook is back in the squad.

In the Ernest Armstrong Cup, striker Tony Healer makes his debut for Birtley at West Allotment, but manager Scott Oliver will be missing eight other players and might be forced to play himself. Allotment will be at full strength, except for Glenn Ford, who is injured.
