Guisborough have big doubts over strikers Chris I’Anson and Luke Bythway, but Lee Bythway returns.

South Shields are at home to Whitley Bay, and manager Gary Steadman will choose from a full squad. Whitley, who have lost their last two league games, are without midfielder Paul Robinson and defender Craig McFarlane.

Jarrow Roofing will be missing their top scorer, Aristotle Guerin-Lokonga and defender Karl McMann for their home game with Newcastle Benfield.

Second bottom Tow Law are looking for three much needed points at Penrith.

In the Brooks Mileson Northern League cup, Birtley are at home to Thornaby, and manager Scott Oliver could rest some key players, but he is definitely missing Owen Peterson and Andy Inness. Thornaby are without Danny Rowbotham, who has already played for Northallerton at Stokesley in the competition. Steve Barker, Neil Campbell and Lee Flanagan all return.
