Guisborough are severely weakened for their home game against Hebburn on Saturday.

Suspensions have caught up with the Priorymen, and they are missing four players -- Chris I’Anson, Luke Bythway, David Onions and Gary Wood. They are currently four points behind leaders Newton Aycliffe with a game in hand.

Aycliffe, meanwhile, have a tough away game at third placed Whickham, and they expect to be at full strength.

Marske, who are fifth, take on Washington at Mount Pleasant, and are without injured pair Rob Jones and Lewis Wood, but Dom Gamble and Andy Swalwell return after injury. Washington will be missing Jamie Dawson and Will Caris because of suspension.

Fourth placed North Shields, who put nine past Horden in the EA Trophy in midweek, are at home to Horden, and hope to give new signing Chris Laws from Dunston, a belated debut. Horden are missing Mike Langley because of suspension, but will probably be unchanged from the team that beat Thornaby 4-1 in midweek.

Chester-le-Street will be without defender Luke Gilhespy at home to second bottom Brandon, but otherwise they will be at full strength.

Darlington RA player-manager Nick Harrison makes his long-awaited return after injury when they go to Birtley, and he could also make a new signing before the game. Birtley are without brothers Michael and Richard Latimer because of suspension.

Crook Town, who are in seventh place, go to bottom club Morpeth without suspended quartet Kevin Devine, Anthony Dobell, John Jury and Chris Wallace.

However, the game is in severe doubt because of the poor state of Morpeth’s pitch. Morpeth are interested in signing midfielder Rory Prendergast, once of Darlington.

Northallerton, who are third bottom, six points above the danger zone, are at Thornaby and are missing Richard Thompson because of suspension, but Steven Butterworth and Wayne Hall both return after injury. Thornaby welcome back Dean Fox and Terry Robinson after suspension, while new signing Chris Wrathmall is added to the squad.

Seaham Red Star, who are at home to Whitehaven, give Chris McCabe his first game of the season after recovering from injury, while Neil Gough also comes back into the side.

In the other game, Gillford Park are at home to Team Northumbria, depending on their ground availability.
