Friday night football is certainly catching on in the Northern League.
The last three Friday nights have seen well-attended matches in the second division -- last Friday's game between Darlington RA and Newton Aycliffe attracted a crowd of 335 -- and this Friday sees Hebburn take on Seaham Red Star.
Another Friday night game has been arranged for Friday November 5th, a local derby between Seaham Red Star and Horden.
