Newcastle Benfield striker John Campbell could be on his way to the Football League.
Campbell scored twice on Saturday in the 6-0 win over Ryton to take his tally in the league this season to 18 goals, a notable effort before the end of October.
And those goalscoring exploits have brought him to the notice of Swindon Town who have invited him to the County Ground for a week's trial.
Campbell was on schoolboy forms at Manchester City earlier in his career, and turned down a contract in order to stay in the north east.
