In the STL Northern League , Shildon could return to the top of the First Division if they beat Whitley Bay at Hillheads. Manager Gary Forrest could make changes to freshen his team after their FA Cup replay win over Tadcaster in midweek, and he will also give striker Andy Johnson a fitness test.
Whitley are without keeper Terry Burke, so Kyle Hayes deputises, while defender Darren Timmons is also missing. However, midfielder Lee Kerr and striker Phil Bell both return.
Champions Spennymoor, who are unbeaten in seven games, are at Norton, and manager Jason Ainsley is expected to include former Whitley Bay winger Chris Moore on loan from Darlington, plus striker Gavin Cogdon returns after suspension.
Norton are without midfielders Nathan Mulligan and Karl Richards, while three players will have fitness tests.
Sunderland RCA, who are looking for their first win of the season, are at home to Dunston, and they include new signing from Ryton, striker Richard Logan, and defender Carl Beasley from Spennymoor. Dunston add Steve Pickering, Jack Burns and Fergal Harkin to their squad.
