Crook Town are looking for a new manager following the departure of Colin Myers, who was appointed near the end of last season.
Myers missed Crook’s 10-1 home defeat last night by Billingham Synthonia in the ENL Second Division, and said; “After a long and amicable conversation it was felt by both parties that it was just not working out. I would like to wish the club all the best in the future.”
A statement by Crook said; “Crook Town AFC have today parted company with manager Colin Myers after a disappointing run of results. The decision was not an easy one to make but the club felt that with our current league position and our recent performances that action needed to be taken which is why the decision was made to part company with Colin.
"We would like to put on record our thanks to Colin for his efforts and we wish him well in the future."
