TWO goals from Colin Nish and one from Nobby Solano put Hartlepool United into fifth in League One.
Pools enjoyed a routine win over struggling Bury at Victoria Park as they extended their best ever start to a season to eight unbeaten games.
Pools created the first chance after only 34 seconds and never looked back.
Adam Boyd headed onto the roof of the net on 17 minutes, and they took the lead on 36 minutes with Solano's first goal for the club.
He skirted through on the edge of the box and finished low as part of an inspired performance.
The second came on 51 minutes. After his shot was blocked, Nish reacted quickest to prod in from ten yards.
The striker then met a Solano cross, but headed against the underside of the bar, but was soon celebrating his second.
He easily robbed defender Andrai Jones, and confidently rolled in from close range.
