WES BROWN returns to Sunderland’s starting line-up for this afternoon’s Premier League match with Swansea City at the Stadium of Light.
Brown returns in place of the Matthew Kilgallon, who was injured in last week’s defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
That is the only change Martin O’Neill makes for the visit of Brendan Rodgers’ side, who currently sit two places above the Black Cats in the table.
Kieran Richardson continues at left-back, with Phil Bardsley on the right, while Brown partners O’Shea in the heart of defence.

Subs: Westwood (gk), Meyler, Elmohamady, Ji, Wickham, Turner, Gardner.
Swansea City: Vorm; Rangel, Williams, Caulker, Taylor; Britton, Allen, Sigurdsson; Dyer, Graham, Sinclair.
Subs: Tremmel, Routledge, Monk, McEachran, Moore, Augustien, Richards.
