WHITLEY Bay are looking for a perfect ten when they travel to Billingham Synthonia.

The FA Vase winners have won every league game so far, although they haven’t managed to shake off Spennymoor and Penrith at the top.

Their latest victory was a 6-1 demolition of Billingham Town in midweek.

Manager Ian Chandler said : “I don’t think the pressure is increasing on us to keep the run going. The way we are playing, and the players that we have, I really do expect us to win the next five games.’’ Keeper Terry Burke and defender Mark Taylor are injured, while Synners are at full strength.

Spennymoor Town face Ashington, having already beaten them in the FA Cup this season. Moors welcome back top scorer Michael Rae after injury, but midfielder Anthony Peacock is struggling.

Midfielder Gareth Waite is out.

Ashington are missing Dave Carr and Joe Race.

Billingham Town, who haven’t won in six league matches, are at home to West Allotment.

Town manager Peter Mulcaster is hoping to make at least two new signings, and he also signed midfielder Graham Harrison in midweek. Midfielder Shaun Clarke is suspended.

Chester-le-Street, at home to Horden, are without firstchoice keeper Josh Carmichael, so Ian Aitken replaces him. Rob Draper, Craig Price and Nick Kane are unavailable. Horden are without midfielder Steve Thomas, who has a hamstring injury, while striker Neil Campbell is suspended.

Bishop Auckland go to Dunston, boosted by their midweek win at Chester-le- Street, but miss injured brothers Amar and Arjun Purewal, defender Neil Wilkinson and midfielder Simon Ord. Dunston have doubts over defender Lee Bell and striker Andy Bulford.

Ryton, at home to Esh Winning, will give a fitness test to keeper Lenny French before the game. Esh are without their keeper, Danny Molyneux, who has suffered a shoulder injury.

Robbie Blemmings, Dane Wilson and David Lamb are injured.

In the second division, two of the promotion contenders, Sunderland RCA and Jarrow Roofing, meet. The RCA have dropped just two points in ten games, but could be without top scorer Mark Davison and midfielder Michael Coughlan because of injury Roofing, who have lost just one league game, have doubts over strikers Tony Thirkell and Craig Nelson, as well as keeper Gary Frater.

Brandon face managerless Hebburn and will be without defenders Adam Laidlaw and Ian Pritchard, while midfielder Stephen Salter will have a fitness test. Hebburn have five applicants for their vacancy, with a decision due next weekend.

Newton Aycliffe go to Cumbria to play second-placed Whitehaven and are missing midfielder Danny Robinson and striker Danny Mellanby.

Seaham Red Star are at home to Washington, and manager Andy Toman will give new signings Anthony Hume and Adam Gell, from West Auckland, their debuts.

Marske play Team Northumbria and Ross Diamond and Glenn Wesson could return, while they have placed midfielder Steve Cochrane on the transfer list.

Thornaby have re-signed striker Paul Vickers from Guisborough and he plays at home to bottom club Darlington RA, who are missing nine players, so Max Rees is hoping to make some late signings.
