A towering performance at the World Cup has earned this Geordie defender more than just praise from fans.
Newcastle United defender Dan Burn, from Blyth, has been offered a custom-built bath after helping England into the World Cup semi-finals with a standout 11-minute performance against Norway.
The offer comes from bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing, which found the standard UK bath is one foot shorter than the 6ft 7in defender.
The company is offering Burn its largest bath model, measuring 6ft 6in long and 3ft 3in wide, so he can enjoy a post-match soak in a bath he'd actually fit.
Alex Woods from Victorian Plumbing said: "Dan Burn’s performance during the World Cup so far has captured the nation’s attention, and so has his incredible height.
"Recovery is a crucial part of a footballer’s routine, with baths often used to help players relax after matches, so we wanted to celebrate Dan’s contribution by offering him a bath that’s actually built around him.
"After standing tall for England, we think a defender who stands 6ft 7in deserves a recovery soak that stands up to the challenge."

The footballer spent just 11 minutes on the pitch after being brought on in the 111th minute against Norway, but his contribution was enough to help England secure a place in the semi-finals against Argentina.
