Middlesbrough are in action when they take on Leeds United in the Championship on Monday.

Here are all the details you need to know about the game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having claimed creditable draws at Hull City and Ipswich Town in their last two matches, Middlesbrough return to the Riverside for their penultimate home game of the season when they host Leeds on Saturday.

The reverse fixture at Elland Road in early December was a hugely entertaining affair, with Emmanuel Latte Lath’s two first-half goals insufficient to prevent Boro suffering a 3-2 defeat.

Boro’s recent home record against Leeds is mixed, with the teams’ last six meetings on Teesside having resulted in two home wins, two away wins and two draws.

Last season’s game saw Boro suffer a 1-0 defeat, with Mateusz Klich scoring the only goal of the game for Leeds on the stroke of half-time.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Monday’s game kicks off at 8pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Yes – tickets for Monday’s game are still available from the ticketing section of Middlesbrough’s official website.

Non-member prices start at £31 for adults, £23 for Over-65s and £19 for Under-18s.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes – Monday’s game is being televised live by Sky Sports and will be broadcast on the Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels as well as the Sky Sports app.

With the game being broadcast live, domestic streaming will not be available.

Radio coverage of Saturday’s game will be available on talkSPORT and BBC Radio Tees, and The Northern Echo’s Scott Wilson and Dominic Shaw will be at the Riverside producing a live blog, report, ratings, reaction and analysis on The Northern Echo’s website.

WHAT IS BORO’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Michael Carrick is without two of the players that were involved in Boro’s last game against Ipswich as loanees Luke Ayling and Sam Greenwood are unable to feature against their parent club.

Hayden Hackney, Paddy McNair and Josh Coburn are not expected to be available to feature, while Marcus Forss and Riley McGree have both been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

One of Carrick’s main pre-match decisions will revolve around Boro’s formation, with the head coach having to decide whether to play a flat back four or switch to five at the back.

If Carrick goes with the latter, Isaiah Jones and Lukas Engel are likely to fill the wing-back berths, with Jonny Howson switching to centre-half and Sammy Silvera retaining his starting spot in a wide-attacking role.

Middlesbrough (probable, 5-2-3): Dieng; Jones, van den Berg, Howson, Clarke, Engel; Barlaser, O’Brien; Azaz, Latte Lath, Silvera.

HOW ARE LEEDS SHAPING UP?

Leeds’ hopes of winning automatic promotion suffered a blow at the weekend when Leicester beat West Brom to return to the top of the table.

Thomas Farke’s side head into Monday’s game sitting in third place in the table, four points adrift of the Foxes and two points behind second-placed Ipswich. All three teams have played 43 games.

Leeds are on a bad run though, having picked up just one point from their last three matches. Last time out, they lost 1-0 at home to relegation-threatened Blackburn.

Connor Roberts has suffered a recurrence of a muscular injury and will not be available to face Boro, which is likely to mean Archie Gray returning to right-back.

Former Boro striker Patrick Bamford will hope to return to Leeds’ starting side, with Farke having opted to start with Joel Piroe instead against Blackburn.

Leeds (probable 4-2-3-1): Meslier; Gray, Ampadu, Rodon, Firpo; Gruev, Kamara; James, Rutter, Summerville; Bamford.
