PROMISING Middlesbrough youngster Luke Woolston has signed a new three-year deal at the club.
The teenage midfielder joined the Boro ranks at Under-15 level after previously being on Sunderland's books.
He's since impressed in the youth ranks at Rockliffe. Woolston was a member of the Boro Under-17 team that finished runners-up in the PL Cup and has been a regular for the Under-18s before stepping up to join the Under-21s.
This season he's also made the step-up to the first team, training regularly with Michael Carrick's senior squad.

Although Woolston is still awaiting his first team debut, the 19-year-old was named as a substitute for three successive Championship games in February and March and he's regularly travelled with the squad.
The Hartlepool-born midfielder's new deal runs until the end of the 2026/27 season.
It's the second new contract confirmed by Boro this week, with 18-year-old Charlie Lennon signing his first pro deal at the club.
Lennon, from Spennymoor, is an England youth international, has made around 50 appearances for the Under-18s since and has stepped up to feature twice for the Under-21s. He's also trained with the first team.
