NEWCASTLE UNITED have announced the departure of three of their academy players.
Remi Savage has left permanently, Dylan Stephenson has headed out on loan and Cameron Ferguson has severed his ties with the Magpies by mutual consent.
Defender Savage has joined Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent basis.
The 22-year-old joined Newcastle in the summer of 2021 from his boyhood club Liverpool and appeared for the first team in a 3-2 pre-season friendly win over Gateshead last summer.
After two-and-a-half years on Newcastle's books, he joins an Inverness side led by former Magpies striker Duncan Ferguson who currently sit eighth in the Scottish second tier.
Stephenson, a 21-year-old striker, has joined National League North side South Shields on loan until the end of the season after scoring three goals in ten Under-21s appearances this term. He could make his Shields debut against Boston United this weekend.
