CROFT CIRCUIT is gearing up for another action-packed year after confirming its event calendar for 2024.

The popular North Yorkshire venue will host 13 race meetings which will see action on two, three and four wheels from April to November, including the annual visit of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship in July.

As has been the tradition in recent years, the North East Motorcycle Racing Club will kick off the new motorsport season on April 6-7 ahead of the 750 Motor Club’s first of two visits to Croft on April 20-21.

Packed grids will be the order at both the British Racing and Sports Car Club and Darlington and District Motor Club meetings which will take centre stage on May 4-5 and May 18-19 respectively before two events dedicated to motorcycles in June.

Bikes from yesteryear will thrill the crowds in an action-packed weekend organised by the Classic Motorcycle Racing Club on June 1-2 before the British Superbikes stars present and future will feature in the No Limits Race Meeting on June 22-23.

July is dedicated to Touring Cars at the North-East’s only permanent race track with the booming TCR UK Touring Car Championship highlighting the visit of the British Racing and Sports Car Club meeting on July 13-14 before the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship speeds into Croft at the start of the summer holidays on July 27-28.

Britain’s premier four-wheeled motorsport series is undoubtedly set to be one of the headline events of the year with three blockbuster encounters featuring a capacity grid and a number of exciting new rules for this season, as well as the usual thrills and spills from the TOCA support package.

The popular Historic Show weekend takes place on August 10-11 with action from the glorious past on track as well as numerous period shows and attractions off it which has proved a massive hit with thousands of fans over the years.

Darlington and District Motor Club host the traditional Battle of Britain race meeting on August 24-25 which will feature an expanded number of local competitors contesting the local championships, including the well-supported Northern Sports and Saloon Car series.

Action as well as nostalgia is guaranteed when the British Automobile Racing Club Mini Festival hits the track on September 7-8 before the second of the 750 Motor Club meetings rounds off the circuit racing season on September 21-22.

Finally, back by popular demand is the Swift Signs & Shirts Winter Stages Rally on November 24 which will see an eclectic mix of modern and historic machinery take to the various routes around Croft before culminating in darkness to determine the winners.
