MORGAN Rogers starts for Middlesbrough against Rotherham United on the back of this week's transfer interest from Aston Villa.
Rogers looks set to lead the line against the Millers, but there are two big fitness boosts on the bench with Josh Coburn back among the substitutes. Paddy McNair also returns to the squad.
Michael Carrick has made two changes to his Boro team with Matt Clarke coming into the defence in place of Rav van den Berg and Hayden Hackney replacing Jonny Howson. Van den Berg is on the bench but Howson is absent. Dael Fry is captain.
Finn Azaz and Sam Greenwood - who are both cup tied for Tuesday's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Chelsea - both start. Luke Ayling makes his home debut at right-back.
