MIDDLESBROUGH will face Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The Teessiders were paired with the Blues in this evening's draw, having booked their place in the last four with last night's 3-0 win at Port Vale.
Chelsea booked their place in the semi-finals with a penalty shoot-out win over Newcastle United after claiming a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
The semi-final will be played over two legs, with the first game due to take place at the Riverside Stadium in the week beginning January 8.
The return game will then be staged at Stamford Bridge in the week commencing January 22.
The other semi-final will see Liverpool take on Fulham, with the first leg being staged at Anfield.
