MARTIN DUBRAVKA makes his first Premier League start of the season as Newcastle United take on Everton at Goodison Park this evening.

As expected, Dubravka steps back into the starting XI to replace Nick Pope, who is facing up to four months on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder in last weekend's win over Manchester United.

Dubravka came off the bench to replace Pope in the closing stages at St James', and gets the nod to start on Merseyside tonight.

With Anthony Gordon having been passed fit to line up against his former side, Dubravka's elevation to the starting line-up is the only switch to the team that kicked off against Manchester United.

Gordon was a second-half substitute when Newcastle claimed a 4-1 win at Everton in April, so this will be his first start against his former club since leaving Goodison to move to Merseyside in a £45m move in January.

With Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock still unavailable because of injury, teenager Lewis Miley is once again selected in the Magpies midfield alongside Brazilian duo Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.
