NEWCASTLE United could be in line to celebrate a double award boost after Eddie Howe and Anthony Gordon both received nominations on the back of an impressive November.
Howe has been shortlisted for the Premier League's Barclays Manager of the Month award, while Anthony Gordon has been nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award - with the winners decided by a public vote, which is now open.
Howe is up against Luton's Rob Edwards, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola and Erik ten Hag, who he faces on Saturday evening when Manchester United head for St James' Park.
Although Newcastle lost at Bournemouth last month, Howe also guided the Magpies to an impressive 1-0 win over Arsenal - the first time the Gunners had been beaten in the league this term - and then saw his injury-ravaged side thump Chelsea 4-1 last weekend.

Gordon, meanwhile, has been in dazzling form, scoring the winner against Arsenal before scoring again against Chelsea and creating Jamaal Lascelles' goal.
The winger is up against Jeremy Doku of Manchester City, Manchester United's Harry Maguire, Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling, Luton keeper Thomas Kaminski of Luton Town and Bournemouth's ex-Middlesbrough midfielder Marcus Tavernier.
