DARLINGTON have added to their coaching team with the appointment of Steve Rodden as the club's new goalkeeper coach.
Rodden replaces Jim Provett, who left in September after six years at the club.
The new arrival started work with Quakers last month and was on the bench for last weekend's defeat at home to Spennymoor Town.
Rodden started coaching in his early 20s after he was forced to retire from playing due to injury. He set up his own goalkeeper school in 2012 and has specialised in one-to-one coaching. He's worked with several youth teams in the region, as well as the academies at Carlisle and Newcastle United, and Durham Women.
Tommy Taylor will be back in goal for Saturday's game at Farsley after loanee David Robson returned to Hull City.
