Middlesbrough return to action on Tuesday when they take on Norwich City in the Championship.

Here are all the details you need to know about Tuesday’s game…

WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having seen off Birmingham City at the Riverside at the weekend, Middlesbrough head out on the road on Tuesday when they make the long trip to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City.

Carrow Road has proved a relatively happy hungry in recent seasons, with Boro having claimed two wins and a draw from their last five away games against the Canaries.

Last season’s trip to Norfolk proved a successful one, with Michael Carrick’s side claiming a 2-1 away win last November thanks to a 64th-minute strike from Riley McGree and a dramatic stoppage-time winner from Matt Crooks.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Tuesday’s game kicks off at the traditional midweek time of 7.45pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Yes – although they are no longer being sold by Middlesbrough.

A small number of tickets for the away end at Carrow Road are still available, and can be purchased from 7pm on the day of the game from the South Stand ticket office at Carrow Road. Sales will be via card only.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

Yes – Tuesday’s game is available via Sky Sports’ Red Button service.

With the game being broadcast live, there will be no domestic streaming available.

Radio coverage of Wednesday’s game will be available on BBC Radio Tees.

WHAT IS MIDDLESBROUGH’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Having missed the weekend win over Birmingham because of injury issues, neither Riley McGree nor Darragh Lenihan are expected to be available to face Norwich.

Michael Carrick does not have any fresh injury issues to contend with in the wake of Saturday’s victory, but he could nevertheless opt to shuffle his pack with today’s game the second leg of a run of five matches in the space of 14 days.

Jonny Howson could return at the heart of midfield, having been a second-half substitute at the weekend, while Saturday’s match-winner, Morgan Rogers, is also pushing for a start in the ‘number ten’ role ahead of Matt Crooks.

Josh Coburn appears to be reasonably well-established as Carrick’s first-choice option in attack, although Emmanuel Latte Lath remains a viable alternative.

Middlesbrough (probable, 4-2-3-1): Dieng; Smith, Fry, McNair, Engel; Howson, Hackney; Jones, Crooks, Greenwood; Coburn.

HOW ARE NORWICH SHAPING UP?

Having started the season extremely brightly, Norwich have struggled of late, winning just one of their last seven matches in all competitions. As a result, they head into tonight’s game tenth in the table, level on points with Boro.

David Wagner’s side suffered major disappointment at Carrow Road at the weekend, losing 3-2 to Leeds United despite being two goals ahead at the hour mark.

Norwich’s first-choice goalkeeper, Angus Gunn, suffered a muscular injury in the defeat to Leeds, and is set to be replaced by his deputy, George Long, against Boro.

The Canaries have suffered a bad run of injuries, with Grant Hanley, Ashley Barnes, Josh Sargent, Marcelino Nunez and Jakob Sorensen all currently on the long-term absentee list.

Norwich (probable, 4-4-2): Long; Stacey, Duffy, Gibson, Giannoulis; Rowe, Sara, McLean, Springett; Gibbs, Idah.
